Asam Pedas ikan kembung with leek

Yesterday as I was buying some leek at Giant, one kakak who was passing by gave me a tip.  "Kalau masuk dalam masak asam sedap ni dek, potong sekat ni sekat ni, masuk kan." (about 1.5 inches)  With leeks I either tumis air or make it into soup, but never tried it in Asam Pedas.

So I tried it today. We usually add lady fingers or brinjals to asam pedas right? Surprise, surprise, with leek  it is really nice and delicious. Asam Pedas ikan kembung with leek.
