Giogio

Hai penatnya....

It has been a few days Giogio came into our family.  It was a tough decision to buy him in the first place since our flat is small and to care for two cats would not be easy.  But we only have a few choices, to send Shushu to a mating service, to castrate her, ignore her agonising call of mating or get her a he-cat.  I am not sure of the hukum of castrating, so the lesser risk of dosa conclusion would be getting another cat.

Boy oh boy.  Its hard work getting them aquinted. All the growling and hissing and spitting by Shushu.  Our adorable lovable white fluffy ball of fur has turned into a something else not at all cute.

A few days of putting them in a different cages side by side, or one in a cage and one out, or when one is mewing to comes out, one goes in,   Shushu is softening a little.

Giogio is indeed a 'guy'.  When Gio is in the cage, Shu will be far away, but when shu is in the cage, Gio will be by her, laying down, playing, or trying to get Shu's attention. In his affable way, not once growling back, he would try to flirt with Shu. At least one of them shows attraction to the other because Shu only shows resentment or jual mahal.

I hope Giogio does not give up. Just now I let both of them free, Giogio 'acah-acah' Shushu in a comical way. He really made us laugh.  Despite his round bulging eyes and clumsy manner, he is definitely a 'guy'.
